Introduction 😌
The dream of anyone who works with operational data is:
1 -> Have all the necessary fields filled in so that we can have operational KPIs;
2 -> Data filled in correctly.
As a RevOps I will warn you that the most complicated data is the CS data, even if the team fills in all the necessary fields in their onboarding, adoption, and expansion journey. Operational KPIs demand more.
Deep Dive 💡
CS KPIs only work if the data for all sales channels is filled in correctly and when I say sales channels I'm also talking about partners 🤔
Additionally, all CX/support data must also be filled out correctly.
To deliver a good customer success strategy, the entire revenue journey must be fulfilled. This provides us with a huge operational gain, as we have enough data to understand and thus retain customers or to know if there are risks in this relationship.
Conclusion 👨🎓
After all, in 2024, we are tired of hearing the leaky bucket metaphor, but it is reality. We need a customer base, cross-sell, and data for those on the front line to be more assertive. And to achieve this we need to have all the customer journey data in the CRM.
